Ever wanted to study abroad?

The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) has several programs open for international high school students to study in the U.S for a year or 3-4 weeks and American high school students to do the same in other countries (also providing fully funded merit-based scholarships). Below are some programs with upcoming deadlines:

• Youth Ambassadors (U.S.- Based Programs) – Deadline: March 1 

  • For Iraqi and Algerian youth applicants 

  • For U.S. high school students 

• Benjamin Franklin Transatlantic Fellowship (U.S.- Based Programs) – Deadline: March 4 

  • U.S. high school applicants -Apply | BFTF - Purdue University College of Education 

  • European applicants should check the U.S. Embassy websites for their respective countries for a 2025 BFTF Call for Applications Now Open posting.
